Analyze portfolio limits

You can analyze limits pre-trade or post-trade, as a part of different workflows. The analysis options are summed up in the table.

What is analyzed

Check if a portfolio stays within the limit thresholds. The analysis takes into account portfolio positions and outstanding trade orders in statuses Accepted, Executable, Sent to execution, In execution, Partially executed in the market, Executed in the market, and Settled in the market. Multiple portfolios

Trade order

Check an open trade order before sending it to execution to see if it is in line with the portfolio limits. The analysis takes into account portfolio positions, outstanding trade orders (Accepted, Executable, Sent to execution, In execution, Partially executed in the market, Executed in the market and Settled in the market), and the effect of the current trade order. Rebalance trade orders

Check if suggested trade orders, considering the portfolio's current positions and all other outstanding trade orders, stay within the limit thresholds. For instructions, see Pre-trade limits check in Rebalancing.
