Transfer assets between portfolios
When to use this functionality
When there is a need to transfer positions or account balances from one portfolio to another, you can use this feature. Assets can be transferred with market value, or with original purchase value. This has been used e.g. for Collateralizing assets by transferring them to a locked collateral portfolio.
Note
Note that the process does NOT keep records of costs, taxes or accrued interest through the transfer. If purchase prices have been adjusted e.g. via deferrals, those adjustments are also not transferred.
Transfer assets
In the Overview, select a portfolio.
Right-click the portfolio name in the top right corner.
Select Transfer assets between portfolios → Transfer with market value or Transfer assets between portfolios → Transfer with original purchase value.
Select a portfolio, account, and date.
Double-click on a position row and define the absolute number of units or percent amount of units to transfer.
Click Calculate.
Click Accept transfer.
