FA Developer 1.8 - Release notes

Released: September 2023

FA Developer 1.8 provides you with support for translations in forms.

Support for translations in forms

Why?

FA Developer app now allows you to conveniently add and edit translations in the Forms view. Until now, translations had to be made to separate files.

Who is this for?

This is for users who maintain form translations.

Details

You can now add different languages and modify the translations in your forms. Different forms can have a different number of languages. You can choose the default language and change it afterward if needed. You can edit two languages side by side, making it easy to write translations.

When the changes are done, you can preview the form for each language. You can export translations as XLSX files, for example, if you want to share them with someone without access to the FA Developer app.

Reconciliation submodule under GraphQL API

Why?

The reconciliation submodule was added because of ongoing work with the reconciliation feature in the new FA Operations application.

Who is this for?

This feature is for users of the upcoming FA Operations application.

Details

The reconciliation submodule is in the GraphQL API section of the FA Developer app.

The new submodule displays the GraphQL APIs used by the upcoming reconciliation feature within the upcoming new FA Operations application. You can use it for comprehensive data access and simplifying its usage for research purposes.

Please note that this is an upcoming feature, and the APIs are not officially supported yet.
