Investment plan

Investment plan is a client-specific portfolio model that includes securities and their shares. Investment plan is used for rebalancing.

You can define the target shares as strict thresholds, or allow your positions to deviate from the target by defining minimum and maximum thresholds. For example, you can add a security with target 10%, minimum threshold 9%, and maximum threshold 11%. Investment plan doesn't have to add up to 100%, allowing you to define partial or leveraged investment plans. To create an investment plan for a portfolio, follow the steps in Create an investment plan.

An investment plan can be created as a combination of model portfolios (for example 20% of stock portfolio and 80% of bond portfolio). For instructions, see Create a composite investment plan.

To check if your plan matches the portfolio limits, follow the instructions in Analyze investment plan against portfolio limits.
